Michael, My son works in the entertainment industry and he just came home last night for the holidays. I asked him if he had heard whether any Hollywood "leaders" had come out against Baldwin for his public speech advocating the death of Henry Hyde and his family. He told me that what he heard was that Jack Valenti had expressed publicly his outrage at the Baldwin incident. While Valenti is extremely powerful in the entertainment industry, the average person doesn't even know who the guy is. I asked him if any really well known celebrities had publicly renounced Baldwin's actions and he told me so far, none that he was aware of. He also said that he thinks the fallout from the Baldwin incident isn't over. He's not convinced that Baldwin will escape unscathed in this one. Let's hope so. bp
