Your silence on the subject of our ball makes me suppose your curiosity too great for words.

Mistletoe:

"If a girl stands under a mistletoe, she cannot refuse to be kissed by anyone who claims the privilege"

The Kiss:(not the Christmas tradition but "THEE KISS")

The kiss that is given by the bride to the groom at the end of the wedding ceremony originates from the earliest times when the couple would actually make love for the first time under the eyes of half the village! To be sure that the new couple consummated the marriage by sexual union, several local people had to witness it, or the marriage was not seen within the religious rituals of the time to be finalized. The kiss in church is all that is left. In our modern days of greater reserve, making love in front of our friends and relatives might be considered somewhat excessive.
