having added to my position the other day (though lacking in the resources to be up with the big boys and girls) it came to me that it might be a good idea to get to know the import/export business a little better. so...

could anyone recommend a book that gives a good overview of some of the challenges that go into this type of business..

thanks and have a great holiday everyone.

terke

Suggested Rules for the Thread...

These rules are stated to deter the hype and bash cycles that have been the norm on this board for too long.

Enthusiastic statements are misconstrued as hype statements. Hype statements attract bashers.

With that said, here are my suggested rules.

1). No statements like the following....

"...this stock is going to blast off.."
"...this stock is going to rocket to the MOON.."
"...this stock is the next MSFT.."

2). No near term price projections or contests..

3). No long term price projects or statements like the following...

"...I not going to sell this stock until it hits 200..."
"...When this baby hits 150, maybe then I'll sell..."

4). No moment to moment posting of the daily price

Supposedly we're in this long term, aren't we?

5). No statements saying that if PNLK were an IPO...

PNLK wasn't an IPO. PNLK was launched on the bb-boards under in a developmental stage for various reasons including being on the net first in the sector and using the markets for exposure

6) Stop comparing PNLK to other Internet stock..

PNLK is very different from internets. PNLK is a very different business model not directed to the retail consumer or casual net user
per Glenn's own words, "If you bought PNLk thinking it would go up overnight, you bought the wrong stock."

7). Stop rumors about forthcoming news
===========================

Well now that I've suggested these rules, I wonder that if people abide by them, will people still have anything to talk about...

Oh well,
