If Amazon tries to use its stock as currency, you can bet they will be told "Your money is no good here."

Amazon cannot afford to pay actual cash for aquisitions, since they only have around 300 mil in the bank and that is dwindling by 40 million every quarter.

Trust me, scamazon will not make any aquisitions anytime soon.

As for them buying B&N, that is ludicrous. Why would a respected national bookstore chain with real assets and real profits trade it all in for some soon-to-be-worthless Amazon certificates? I think ML is being generous when they call Amazon a 50 dollar stock. If you applied real-world financial analysis to the "thing" it would literally be a penny stock, or worse. Remember, Amazon has negative liquidation value. In other words, all they have is large cash flow and a ton of debt.
