I, on the other hand, am not amused that Slick is using these troops
in his own public relations campaign to save his presidency. We
don't pay for his legal bills incurred in defending himself against government charges; we also should not pay for his PR expenses
incurred when he engages the resources of the United States
trying to make himself look presidential, in an attempt to delay his impeachment.

There has been considerably less antagonism between people
since the sixties, the hippie peacenik days. Even motorcycle gangs found a way to coexist. I found that the tearing down of the Berlin Wall was a good thing. People are no longer sent to Siberia to
freeze to death. Our military budget is much less than it was
a decade ago.

It seems that everybody and their grandmother has figured out that the answer to differences lies in negotiated solutions, not spraying bullets.

We shouldn't need to police anyone. The remaining belligerent countries just need to get to the point where they are willing to negotiate. Whatever it is. Like most everybody else has already figured out.
