Thanks Tim. I had my reservations about that fiber row article when I posted it for the same reasons you cited. The last mile, however, is altogether dependent on the edge, which that fiber actually represents, so I left it in. But your point is well taken, and I'll maintain a keener focus on the last or first mile here, as well. Frank C.

It's the spontaneity of it all that gets us into trouble, and keeps things interesting around here [g]. The ultimate benefit then unsues when one is forced to do research in order to defend [or, more likely, to rationalize] a previous position which has been challenged ;-) Last week I was just too booked to focus on your earlier "treatments," so I waited until I could take the proper time, and responded with what turned out to be, quite inadvertently, a tome.
