Who are they, these radicals? Henry Hyde? JC Watts?

The Radicals, so named for their similarity to the Radical Republicans who gained a majority in congress for a short time after the Civil War. They were vidictive partisans who opposed the reconstruction proposals of Lincoln and tried to remove Johnson when he tried to implement the policies.

Henry Hyde? - Yes,

J.C. Watts (the former secretary of the interior?) I would think so, but he's been too busy scooping up the lobby bucks to play a role here.
