"I do not understand why anyone should wish to keep this tragically flawed man in the highest office of our nation- this is America, the people have every right to do it, but I will never understand it."

Because he is playing a lead role in a modern Greek tragedy which reflects the struggle our culture (and we as individuals) have with our own sexual conduct and morality. In this country, at this time, nothing more perfectly appropriate could have occurred--Clinton is a perfect mirror of our culture (an icon we elected), and each of us would do well to take this opportunity to examine what our perceptions of him say about ourselves rather than deflecting and continually castigating him. He is working out his karma, and there need be no doubt that he will receive his just deserts, as will all others associated with this case.

Bill Clinton is giving us a snapshot of America, and apparently we don't like what we see in our consciousness. He is also giving us a gift: the opportunity to recognize our own flaws and hence the chance to reform ourselves.
