I checked out the new 60/30 fps demo. As others stated on this board, you can clearly see a difference.

The demo shows you spinning in a small room with a ball bouncing in front of you. As you spin, the 'redrawing' of the graphics (walls) is clearly superior at 60 fps.

New 3Dfx demo - 12:45am MST - Billy "Wicked" Wilson Chris sends word that 3Dfx has released a new demo, which runs a splitscreen with 60fps on the left and 30 or 15 fps on the right...kicking the "the human eye can't perceive more than 32fps" crowd right in the Old Saint Nick.
