Could be. I'd say composite market perceptions. You see stocks languishing for months, even years, then one day they are up 100% or even 1,000% in a month. What changed? The contract which was there all the time finally was signed or something, and perceptions changed. Prospects didn't change much at all. Most of internet stocks have yet to turn a profit.

Look at:
tscn.com

This is a technical indicator which shows cxi at the bottom, and the "down" arrow appeared when the stock began descending from about 5/8. So, even the technical indicators reveal the positive and negative trading perceptions and manipulations which play on those. I'd also say that this indicator would indicate now is the time for at least a short term play to the upside over the next few weeks.

Oh well, fun to pontificate while waiting around.
