I prefer to characterize it as the investor's play. I don't choose to gamble on the volatile Internuts, with business plans based solely on unfulfilled ideas (though I do own aol <g>). Those individual companies may come and go, but the Internet is a sure thing to grow, and Cisco is the Internet!

Lynn,

Are you and your friends getting into CSCO in an IRA
or 401K program? Your case sounds as if it may be an
anecdotal case of retirement $$ coming in at the beginning
of the year.

On the other hand, I start to get hestitant when everybody
is getting into stocks because they know of others getting
into it and making $$. Could be signs of a temporary top.
