Kevin, I've been researching your point, and can't seem to find anything beyond that which has been posted on these SI boards thus far. Please keep us informed if you should find something further. --- Mark, the MIT perfect mirror article was also interesting. I found it reminiscent in a way of the high-gain passive reflector genre of microwave antennae that are sometimes used. --- All, I'm finding it rather gratifying that such stories have gravitated to this thread. It's starting to look like this is the place where industrial strength, as well as deep-scientific, developments in fiber optic technology is getting posted. Keep it coming.
