Ritter, the former inspector, stated publicly that the Clinton decision was timed to derail the impeachment vote. Notice that Clinton did not advise the appropriate people ahead of time. All the military experts not attached to the Clinton Admin agree that a few days of bombing would be ineffectual if the goal was to remove or weaken Hussein. The Wash Post and others have reported that the charges by Butler were phonied and written with the Clinton WH. Remember, virtually all the world is against US and it is generally agreed that this was a political and not military mission first.
