<<< 72% approval rating increased since impeachment >>>

Law is not based on popular vote. Besides, nobody ever went broke underestimating the intellect of the American public.

>>72% approval rating increased since impeachment. Obviously you are in the 28% intelligence rating. Must really stick in your craw that William Jefferson Clinton will be here for 2 more years.

Means nothing. Bush's was higher after the Gulf War and got 37% of vote months later. 45% now want Clinton to resign and that will grow as the evidence is driven home that Clinton, a perjurer and international disgrace, cannot lead.

Your argument is just jury nullification, nothing more. The Senate will do its duty or face history as a body of ciphers. Clinton is very close to removal, much closer than you realize.

At least the markets are happy as Clinton approaches removal and with the knowledge that his presidency is dead.

72% approval rating increased since impeachment.

Come on, you're too smart to think that that means anything about truth or honesty. Hitler was democratically elected. Saddam Hussein has the suppport of the vast majority of his people.

I love democracy for all its good things and its warts. But surely you are smart enough to know that this is one of its warts.

72% approval rating increased since impeachment.

That is, since the bombings.

Obviously you are in the 28% intelligence rating.

Now, a rather simple intelligence test: Clinton's job approval numbers held steady after he lied to a federal grand jury. Was this because:

a) the public believes that lying to a GJ is OK;

b) in the aftermath of the Clinton's testimony, the US military bombed Afgani terrorists camps along with a Sudanese aspirin factory?

Hi Sharon, I hate to generalize on this topic especially but I think women are especially turned off by all this. Maybe its just something about women not liking men that brag about their sex lives or something... I dont know. Exposing something like this out in the open and discussing it is very offensive. One of the feminists said it was a bunch of dirty old men getting their jollies (not into the feminists myself but in this case they may be right).
