Don, with the volume increasing, it might accelerate to a crescendo and wash out, which would, IMHO, be an interesting, temporary buying opportunity for a good sized bounce.

Don, looking again at the S-3 I find:

"On January 9, 1999, the conversion price will be fixed at
90% of the average of the closing bid prices of the Common Stock for the previous 22 trading days. "

That means that they are going to try and keep this one bottled up until the last day, the 9th of January. Time to buy will be in the last three days in this period, hopping that the bandits will let the price rise so they can short against their guaranteed repriced preferred.
