Well first off, Gary B. Meshell has a not so hidden agenda, so when he speaks of other bank groups, you should only listen with half a brain. Second, it's not a question of "if" CheckFree will turn to the Portals, it's a question of "when" will they announce.

And as far as the Banks reactions, well it might actually light a fire under them (who knows?). All I know is that the banks choices are very limited...TP has stated that it will work with the MSN portal, so banks can hardly blame CheckFree for working with the other portals. In addition, most Bank don't like the fact that CheckFree works rival banks (a portal is just another rival).

p.s. IMO Gary Meshell's "Bank Utility" has little chance of doing better than Integrion. Gary is way late in the EBPP game.
