I am not sure what "uncertainty" in terms of economics,
Clinton being replaced by Gore would generate. The government
in effect would be tied up in a vote for a new VP, it would
largely be impotent to make any significant policy changes,
and the rock solid institutions of the American political
system continues to run like Amtrak on a good day. I believe
(IMHO), the only uncertainty is how many brokers will churn
accounts during that time :-).
