Greg: Hmmmmmm.....so the official "line" on the N.I. line is they won't even finish safety testing until some time in first quarter? And after this is concluded they'll THEN ship OEM samples? Let's seeeee; if memory serves, L.D. stated OEM's typically take ~60/90 days to test out available product from the line. So now we're talking about potential p.o.'s announcements, at the earliest, occurring in the 3rd quarter 1999(assuming safety testing won't complete until end of 1st quarter; just to be pessimistic). Need I say this blows any thoughts of first quarter contracts right out of the 'ol water?

Guess this means next quarter I'll have lot'sa time to play with other equities before needing to worry about getting too serious with VLNC, eh? I guess, too, I need to download everything from edgar today in order to have some holiday reading material.....

Thanks for the excerpts.

John~

A few comments and questions regarding the latest filing. It seems that FRB was correct when they stated that no samples had been sent to OEM from the first line and that they would not receive samples until after the first of the year. Lev stated in the last CC that a 30 day quarantine period is required prior to samples leaving the plant. What is a reasonable time frame then for samples to be sent? How long after that would "extensive testing" take? Any idea why the 2 suits were not mentioned in previous CC? Looks like the market has questions as well.
