Y2K panic selling is a much more serious threat to
markets than any effect of the Clinton character debate.
They may coincide and give the false impression of a
Clinton relationship to markets, but it would be a gross
error to associated the two. The Y2K threat is so serious,
I sometimes wonder if Clinton doesn't want a scandal just
to hide the coming economic disruptions..either real or
self fulfilling. A scandal would give the democratic party
AND the republican party cover for failing to address a real
economic threat.
