CYCH...Very good Outlook...!

In the bill presentment marketplace, Digital Cities and CyberCash will work together to help merchants and utility companies in the Washington, D.C. area to send bills and receive payments over the Internet. The pilot program will run through 1998 and could expand to 37 Digital Cities sites in the U.S.

The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) has teamed with CyberCash in a program that gives EEI members -- more than 120 of the country's largest electric utility companies -- the availability of secure Internet payment services at a significant discount. Utility companies, which collect nearly $200 billion annually, as well as telephone companies and other large consumer billers, are a target market for CyberCash's PayNow Secure Electronic Check Serviceā„¢.
