johnd, pmfji, but the trend is your friend. The biggest danger may be sitting on the sidelines and missing an incredible wealth building opportunity. Back in April you posted the same (bearish) tune:

Despite the predictability and invinsibility that MSFT carries
with it, the recent upsurge in the stock price from 65 at the
begining of the year to 91 today represents nearly 45% increase
per quarter (or 200%+ annualized, compounded). Such increases
cannot be sustained for the company that is growing at 35 - 50%
rate at the maximum.

So the stock price will be a laggerd for the rest of the year.
Possibly will go up to 110 in the next 9 months...

If you took your own advice, you'd have missed the run from 91 to 140. Maybe you should go long - long term - and take your lumps during the blessedly brief downturns. Imho, when the doj finally withdraws, this stock will knock your socks off <ggg>.

Thanks, Santa
Frank

Don't for get nowadays everyone is in the market , unlimited of money is flowing into the market every month. It is money momentum which push the market. As to the PE, well, who cares ? As long as the company continues growing. There is no rule said MSFT's PE should be below 100.Am I right ?
