If we add 10 million shares for the options held to the 53 million shares outstanding and multiply by $ 320 / share we now have a market cap of $ 20 billion. Where does a $ 20 billion market cap place AMZN in terms of the largest US corporations ? Perhaps in the top 100 largest corporations in the US ? Not bad for a company that has never made a cent.
