Smart i,
<The current Net stock hype is like a circus.>

This is the same message you posted in November, October, September, August, ..... when you gonna get it - it's not about valuation!

Here's your opinion from 11/24:
However, shorting at $220 will prove to be a great move. YHOO is traded at 10 times the valuation of AMZN on the Price/Sale basis. Therefore, if you are looking for shorts. YHOO is the perfect candidate. Many shorts have lost money with YHOO. I believe it is revenge time. Let us short the hell of YHOO, and deflate this ridiculous bubble ! The time is today !

247 1/4. Ouch! Has your broker called yet or did they simply liquidate your other positions to meet margin requirements?

OK, I have taunted you enough. I agree that the Inets are fundamentally overvalued. But this is a new industry and who knows whether fundamental valuation is appropriate? If you look at the original January 15 predictions, you'll find $60 next to my name. But since then you'll notice that I changed my tune. This occurred when I finally realized that this is a momentum game. It's easier to surf a tidal wave to the shore than to try and paddle out through it...

I have many visions of shorts right now, take your pick:
A) Deer in the headlights
B) A tiny dutchman with his finger in the dyke
C) Boy who cried wolf encircled by an advancing pack of same

Finally, I have two questions for you:
1) What have been your best positions this year?
2) What's your name?

FWIW, I'm no longer long or short YHOO. But I still find it fascinating to watch.

Chuck Molinary
