Jaime, I don't think there is any significance to this other than maybe a cycle pattern forming. The dow would have to almost reach previous highs in order to be symmetrical. One way to watch for weakness would be to look for any signs of distribution taking place, such as a downward sloping Chaikin Money flow, as prices try to reach previous highs (if indeed that happens).

In the early October period, where prices almost reached previous lows, the Chaikin Money Flow was showing accumulation as the prices went down. This was a bullish sign.
