@4:46 est, 100 shares sold @ $10 resulting in a + 5/16 close. Strange moves on low vol.

According to PointCast at 4:01 pm T.J. said CY will miss the analysts earning estimates for the 4th. qtr. of '98. These will be reported on 1-3-99 and were $133 million in revenues with +.04 cents per share. Instead he said they are looking at $126 million in revenues plus/minus $2million and a loss of -.04 cents per share give or take .01 cent per share.

He said the shortfall was due to a manufacturing problem in a Phillipines assembly and test plant which has been corrected.

Someone must have gotten wind of this prior to today since CY never did seem to rally with the other semiconductors.

OT// Lobster contest ain't over till it's over. CSCO closed at 94 11/16 + 4 1/4 and DELL at 71 15/16 + 4 1/16. CY at 9 13/16 + 1/8. Will be interesting to see where it closes after this warning.
