Marcie, I am not good at selling. But this gain from 35 to 54 was on top of the gain from 16 (1995) to 34. On 2 000 shares. Have three daughters visiting Hong Kong for Christmas with three husbands and four children. So, I am very happy blowing some of the gain on them. I do have to pay US taxes as only “Earned Income” is partly exempt. The IRS has strange definitions, you can not “earn” money on the stockmarket nor on interest income, nor by having a pension to which contributions were at one time tax-deductible. Only for Services.

Wish you as much luck with other sales and :
don't ever confuse luck with brains !!

Actually, “ My favorite holding period is Forever” (Warren Buffet). Your prediction could prove him right once more - provided you pick well in the first place.

Walter in Hong Kong, going to Stanley Market with kids, van and driver ...

You're absolutely right! Based on the trading range MYG broke out of, the next target is ~68. But, no doubt you'll hold past there ;-) LT, no worries. I just bought DELL calls (looks ready to break out).
