you can't do much with a PC that is under 500 bucks!
But an IMac with a G3 under 700...hey...THAT would be great!!
I'm in the market for one of the more powerful G3 Macs...for Graphic Design...now if only Apple would trade for the Mac versions of all of the Adobe programs, because to rebuy all of that software would cost more than the MAC!!!

Well, I just can't imagine those PC Data figures being any better than they were. #1 for the month, high average selling price, 10% market share, Apple back in the top five. I think the 10% figure is especially key. It's a magic number.

Seems that this NASDAQ push was mostly internet and Nifty Dozen, related. Most of my stocks (all on the NASDAQ, but mostly smaller names) were down fractionally today. I note with interest that Novell was also a tad down today. This stock has had a year a lot like Apple's and both were sort of coming from the same place a year ago, as well. We're not the only stock treading water right now.

I think the potential is there for a big AAPL move over the next three or four weeks. I bought more today.

Sounds like Yosemite boxes will begin shipping right after MacWorld. I bet we have fuller specs (via dealer pre-order sheets) within a week. Again, kudos to Apple for superb inventory management.

Final thought: The $999 iMac is going to push a lot of people I know over the edge into iMac-ownership.
