You ARE a good sport, Jane! You could have gotten pissed. Thanks for the very informative response. And I too am trying to sort of suppress some vaguely positive feelings I'm getting about DGIV.

Jane, killer post here that I just absolutely have to attach to <gg>

I would like to comment on your notion of not needing to have a college education in order to make money. You are so right here. Matter of fact, I have actually discouraged many of my peers from trying to get a traditional college education. Why??? For any number of reasons, but the main one is this: too many of my classmates are going to college not because they want to, but because it is "the thing to do". They don't care about learning, their focus is on getting through it as quickly and as easily as possible. College is way too expensive for students to take this approach.

I could go on and on here, but my point is that you need to have a quest for knowledge, you need to be able to adapt, and you also need to have a certain level of tolerance while attending today's universities if you expect to succeed. By all means, one can make money (and lots of it) without a college education. Just ask Mr. D.

BTW, White Summer/Black Mountain Side is one of my favorite tunes. No words... just pure goodness :-)
