Well Randy, you can't be "from" The Socialist Republik of Minnesota given your written deference to the state. -g-

The cabins are bit NW of Mille Lacs. The first one went in in 1917/18. No eyewitness is alive to tell the history anymore, but I believe they carted the materials in during that winter over the ice. One story I always heard is you needed the axle clearance of the Model T's or you couldn't get anywhere near the place till after the war. That is WW II. I, myself, snagged out mufflers on a Corvette and got hung up like a fish out of water with a 944 that slipped.

Now the place up in Lake County is another matter, but is getting gentrified so fast that I'm sure I could race a Ferrari in there next year. -nfg-
