Don't really have an opinion Marcie, just the facts based on ABC/NBC/CNN/Usa Today Polls...just making a comment on the market.

All it takes is 34 "no" votes on impeachment in the senate and he stays in office. With 45 dems in the senate and a 70% approval rating it is certain Clinton is going nowhere. Again, this is good for the market.

<You have your oppinion and I have mine. The fact that Clinton was caught in the oval office with his pants down and his "johnson" out does not make me believe that his approval rating is high. Or is it you who is missing something?>

If anything, those who are said to "approve of Clinton's job as president" are basically saying, "I don't approve of Clinton lying under oath, but then again, I don't really care, either, as long as I have a good job and my 401k plan is doing well." Kind of scary, if you ask me. This tells me that Clinton could get away with murder as long as the economy remains strong. Clinton's lawyers will even say, "He hurt the guy really bad, but it doesn't constitute murder since Clinton never intended to commit murder according to his own definition of the term."

P.S. - I particularly liked Clinton's message to Saddam Hussein, which goes, "If you act recklessly, you will pay a heavy price."

The approval rating is not something we "think". It is something that is measured. It is historically high. You are in the minority, but you are entitled.
