Anyhow it's all left
up to interpretation and your political beliefs.

Precisely. Which is what's sad. Truth, honor, integrity, none of them come close to politics in this Congress. On BOTH sides of the aisle. Sad.

I suggest you both are thinking like lawyers and not like
voters ( i.e. us common folk ). Democratic constituents
support scandal politicians involved in sex and drugs BECAUSE
they fear the predictable judgement ingrained in some of the
Republican right wing. Republican's support scandal politicians
involved in money schemes because they fear the socialist spending
habits of the left wing of the Democrats.

If you take the legaleeze out of the debate and speak to the squishy
emotional debate, which is the basis of the majority of voters,
there is common ground. If we can kill the prejudged fear factor on both sides, admit the predispositions based on historical fact, we might once again listen to the voices of statesman, and maybe even create a more just application of the law.
