Zeev, Trouble is I reasoned the FA and TA to be very much in line. That production was coming along nicely ("on the cusp"), insiders had made some pretty meaningful purchases, long awaited analysts visit occurred (supposedly "blown away"), and basically, things were out of our hands right now, just waiting on an announcement of a contract. Clearly the enthusiasm on this thread was a little premature, but I really believed it was just that, a "little" premature, not nearly as far behind expectations as it apparently is in reality. Based on the power of the 65 day move (more than tripling on impressive volume) I didn't think a fake-out, hype rally was in the works. Now I see that I was fooled. The fact that the price pulled off the high on small volume correlated in my mind with the FA fact that analysts did not come out immediately with any positive (public) words and then the 1/27 deadline seemingly not going to be met. You would expect the stock to stall.

The bottom line is that things are not nearly as far along as some/most on this thread had hoped, and the chart has now confirmed that. I exited today, and had to accept quite a bit of slippage. So goes it.

As far as a dead cat bounce. I think I'll second John Curtis in thinking it may come from lower levels. Because of people's margin, but also last year VLNC never really did have such a bounce, it seemed.

Good point about the fractal thing. Bill.
