lol...might be Sal. Or we might just be wrong. Two questions really. Is there a plan? ( probably).... And if there is will it work? ... The gamble buffered a little ( as Ed Perry implied) by the probability that he could probably, in this digital age, find somebody to pay over a buck a share for the company.

IMO, as long as there are real assets on the balance sheet, here to include the technology and the patent portfolio, and there are effective intangibles, the Ampex name and it's broadcasting post-production product history, then, at these price levels, there is opportunity for a turnaround.

It will all come down to management vision and their business acumen and timing.

Speaking of timing, in the present cycle, tax loss selling is making the current price level "depressing". However, in the period beginning next week through roughly mid April, this cycle will reverse to favor the longs. Also, if rumor implies fact, this time frame should be enough to bring some announcements forward.

In the daily trading of the last 7 days, I have noticed an up and down wave appearance, something not seen since October. Between October and now was, daily trade speaking, essentially flat and uninspiring (possibly in the manner which low priced stocks often bottom out).

The first sign of the turnaround will be when these waves link up and
begin to cover more ground. I'm convinced that this will happen before any announcement or even projections occur about revenues and earnings.

So there it is. A four month evaluation period which will put the cycle in your favor as well as give ample time for something to happen.
