In the case of President Andrew Johnson, history has sided not with the bloodthirsty Republicans (hey, did you guys all lose your souls when Lincoln died, or what?!) who were successful in impeaching him, but rather with the President, a Democrat who was more committed to following the policies of Lincoln than any of the Republicans themselves... As far as Clinton's place in history goes, it is very very likely to be closer to Andrew Johnson than it would be to Nixon, the Republican President who resigned when it became certain that he would not only be impeached, but also removed from the office and maybe, even sent to jail...

Oh, right, Billy Boy. I don't like Clinton, personally or politically. I like you less, though, with your sanctimonious lectures on professional, non-partisan Republicans and so-called partisan hatred from anybody who disagrees with you. So, Clinton's going down quick, and all the polls showing Republicans suffering as a result are hogwash. Maybe, we'll see. I've made no predictions in the past, and I make none for the future. Except that you will continue to call anybody who disagrees with your particular form of political correctness an idiot or worse. And whine when anything comes back your way. Quite impressive, Billy Boy.
