Very interesting but I suspect that it will take more than "Captain Euro" to make it work. Getting people to use the new money, when it is issued, may be a major hurdle but I think there are other problems, e.g. impact of common interest rates, that will be more difficult to overcome. However, I don't claim any special insights.
