ETrade I have level II. I see my order go up within 2 seconds of my submitting it on the web. I get confirmation back within seconds of my seeing that the MM who got my order is off the Level II screen. BUT What I also notice, is that NYSE and AMEX is not as consistent, especially shorts. It has reached the point where I am hesitant to use ETrade to short a NYSE or AMEX stock. And anyone here will tell you that other on line brokers can do better, and I for one will not argue that. But yes, I did feel that the executions and confirmations were fast. David
