Yes. a good sideline for a physician. Honestly however, I'm finding mor and more doctors trading part time.. Do you know the Golden Sports Medicine center near West Boca Medical.. that doc trades few hours a day and cuts the rest of the day... and has a tv screen with bloomberg in his office. My nutritionist (keeps the weight down) also trades half the morning and this guy is a veritable stock genius. My dentist, Dr Lippman whose office is in the TJ Maxx plaza has a tv with cnbc on all day, and another friend who has the AT&T cellular store in Mission Bay plaza just installed a 52 inch tv in his store and also has Bloomberg open all day. I guess that is the trend with professionals lately. a girlfriend who is a dentist in Delray likes only DELL and AOL but she made over 3million in these 2 in the last 2 years. when I was at her house about a month ago she had been thinking of investing another 250k in both of them. I said I thought she should considering spreading it out on two others so she got INTC and NSOL. They say trading on line will double by year 2,000. I'm sure lots of retired and semi retired professional will join their ranks. In fact I'm involved in an ongoing article with money magazine that are studying the trading habits of individual investors, and stock picks available on the internet so I have given them these facts including names and phone numbers for those who permissioned me to do so..
