I'm having second thoughts about buying TGLO for a short squeeze. 1) GCTY, TGLO, XMCM have never really been inet high flyers like other stocks have. Apart from the first two days of TGLO trading, and a brief scrape at another two occasions, they've all been below $50. 2) They didn't participate much in today's sector wide rally. 3) I don't really see much revenue/profit potential from these "community" sites. 4) E-commerce is hot, portals (and web sites with most revenue from advertising) are not. Well, except for YHOO, but YHOO is different :) Maybe TMCS would be a better choice, but the float is much larger there.. missed out on UBID. (Although there still may be lots of upside.. who knows) That said, maybe many shorts are thinking the same thing and shorting these dogs.. these days it seems impossible not to make money if you're long.
