Perhaps we're looking for different things with the term, but I personally don't consider what Netscape did with Navigator on many OSes to be innovative. >Open a commercially viable product to OSS. I don't see the innovation in this. OSS was around long before Netscape opened their browser. And Linux was already commercially viable before this---but even it it weren't, Netscape was just incrementally extending on the OSS idea instead of doing something innovative, IMO. -Sal
