My, we're certain of our righteousness here, aren't we Dwight? The Rev. Pilch's Christian clarity at work, as opposed to long outmoded Christian charity? You're on the winning side? If you insist. Personally, I think the country's on the losing side in this long running morality play. And that, of course, has been my line all along. Want the canonical quote? I don't think it's from a Democrat. But of course, it's the Democrats preaching "partisan hatred", and the 6-year running Clinton hatred industry is just about "truth and justice". Your "Clinton is Caligula" has been superceded by "Clinton is Capone" here. Yawn.

I think Clinton overplayed his hand politically after the election. I think the Republicans have been overplaying their hand too. You think the Dems have been inserting their foot in mouth? Because they don't agree with your politics? I think your politics is in agreement with the most hot-headed of the Republicans, and the hotheads are the reason why the Republicans look like they're in deep doo-doo in the polls. But, it'll all be forgotten in a month, right? That's one of the lines, anyway.

So, who do you like as a Republican Y2K candidate, Dwight? Pat Robertson? Pat Buchanon? Tom DeLay? Trent Lott? They're all into the moral reformation movement. Think any of them will be around in Nov. 2000?

Merry Christmas, Dwight. Want to repeat your Thanksgiving greeting?
