Roger, it seems highly unlikely that the senate could gather the required 2/3 to finally oust the bum. Worst case scenario is censure which is just a slap on wrist. BWDIK

However, if one looks out further than three months, putting my political hat away and just looking strictly at the market, the market would do better with Al Gore because Clinton is by definition uncertain. Sure it would drop during the process, but from 3/99 forward the market would do far better with Gore than Clinton.

Remember the market did very well when Nixon departed.
