******************* OFF TOPIC *********************

Al,

I remember those episodes of chemical experimentation influenced by knowledge beyond my own. But I did hang out the second floor bedroom window by my forearms when I was 11. Before realizing the distance from the ground to my feet was greater than I thought at first glance. I was able to retreat back in the window without incident. Forty years later, these memories help explain where my present enjoyments emanated from and the associated thrills.

Phil

Big Al,

Calcium chloride will produce orange flames .
Coppper chloride= blue flames
Copper sulfate=green flames
Lithium chloride=red flames
Potassium choloride=purple flames

soak pine cones, let dry and use in your fireplace for a interesting change of pace. No explosions as far as my science knowledge goes.

BTW: I passed fire starting in the boyscouts.<G>

Al:

Nextel was down yesterday on some very high volume. It appears that nextel may be getting ready to lead the move lower. At best, a general retracement is due early in the new year for the market as a whole.

Have a happy holiday and a prosperous New Year.

Ken
