<<<<but dell was distinctly different... it ran up all day, even at the close while the other nasdaq leaders came significantly off their highs at the end >>>
Dell short interest
Sept 57.7 mm
Oct 54.6 mm

Dec ??

WAG: My suspicion is that Dell has purposely been held down for several weeks (under 70), while more of these short shares were covered. I now expect it to continue up,as the same shorters may now have gone long. Its a shame we can't prove any of this (possible manipulation), but if one stays long on Dell it evens out. And if Dec short interest comes in higher,my guess is wrong(G)
European markets are up nicely

Hello Uncle Frank, in a capsule, I see most of the tech stocks gaining approximately one third of yesterdays gains becoming flat tomorrow and picking up 10 % of the gains from today on Thursday. Still see Dell at around $90 per sh. at earnings, then exploding upon blowout report to around $105. I told everyone that Michael would be very quite this quarter. You have not heard a peep out of him. This is very bullish to me. I am convinced that he was extremely miffed by the reaction to what was a hell of a quarter. this time he will find the two pennies, his way of telling all of the analyst to kiss his A--.
