I expect, early next year, there will be some cult-like interest in business-to-business e-commerce. With the holiday shopping season, online retailing has received a tremendous amount of attention. But the real game is business-to-business, and I think the attention will focus on that after the holiday interest in e-tailing subsides.

What are the best business-to-business e-commerce plays out there? Basically, I'm looking for companies that would have a strong identification with business-to-business e-commerce, in anticipation of a surge in biz-to-biz interest after the holidays.

ONSL is doing some smart things with its Yahoo! Small Business tie -- and more importantly with its Industrial Trading Communities site.

More important, what are the good e-commerce "infrastructure" plays out there? What companies will businesses turn to in order to build out their own business-to-business infrastructures? OMKT, BVSN, SDTI, VRSN, etc.? Who are the leading e-commerce consultants? IBM, JDEC, etc.?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts--.
