yu, i'll take the minority view on this one. i don't feel like i missed anything. i think a lot of this kind of attitude depends on your goals and financial situation. if capital preservation is your goal it is a much different situation that having growth needs.

there are innumerable opportunities in the financial markets going forward. you might do well to learn what you can learn from this experience and quit beating yourself up and look ahead. Plot the best course you can see. And remember that a priori judgment will never be as good as a posteriori analysis. (translation for skeets<ggg>: anyone can be a monday morning quarterback)

IMHO, you shouldn't consider you're losing money by sitting in cash. I don't feel I'm losing money because I watched someone else bet "Red" at the roulette wheel and win. AMZN will come up "Black" eventually. -g-
