Skeeter, don't worry about da Nikkei they can announce more reforms, tax cuts, stimulus packages, foster consumption, the touts will say Asia is on the mend and has bottomed. -g- Ignore the fact that the huge Japanese savings has been squandered in a mountain of non performing loans made during the bubble days and the SEA " economic miracle". Mike always optimistic -g-

Skeets, It's so crowded that nobody goes there any more. <G> I do like the idea of higher rates in Japan, to get those savers feeling more confident. But 40 basis points ain't gonna do it.
