Hi Robert, RE:This can only be explained by TCI dragging their feet. IMO, after reviewing the geographical areas that are coming on line first with cable modem in our immediate area, I believe these folks at TCI don't have a clue of the demographics particularly related to disposable income. Or perhaps the marketing people don't talk to the implementation people. In either case, most of the least likely (affordability wise) areas have or are being installed now. The wealthier areas are not even scheduled. I sent an E-Mail to TCI requesting date for our area (like Westwood of N Calif).... They could not give a date! Their ads on local cable constantly push upgraded digital cable at +$10/month. I have seen a couple of ATHM promos on TCI for $40, but when you call the 800#... sorrry Charlie... TCI is definitely holding ATHM back IMO. TCI is holding themselves back! Bummer! Was really lookin forward to December install of @home. I may have to check with PacBel to get info on ADSL. RW
