Question on Symbols.

Most Cdn stox have 3 letters and the OTC have 4.

Some CDN symbols have a ".A" or a ".U" tagged on the end. Now I know CTR and CTR.A distinguish between voting and non-voting with the CTR being the voting.

Can anyone lend any insight to this differentiation????

Hey Mike

Market Depth for Nasdaq is called Level II. There are several amazing programs through the U.S (e.g Real Tick III and Cybertrader) that intergrate Level II into there systems. However these programs don't offer Canadian stocks. Here is a link to links of most of the major trading programs in the U.S

PCQuotes offers Nasdaq level II with Canadian quotes. However this will set you back $500/month. If you open an E-trade account in the U.S you can get free Level II quotes.

Now for the good news.... I got a private message for Stock Watch Gerry and he told me Level II should be coming soon to Canada Stockwatch.

Best Regards
