<<Try not to put too much money in there, and spare your mother, and her portfolio.>>

My friend:

Laugh all you want . Wayne Hueizenga is a man I want on my side.
You do know who Wayne Hueizenga????

BTW my mom has just tripled her money this year.
Owns DELL, CSCO, YHOO, EBAY and the one dog of her portfolio,
MSFT only 100% gain this year , dragging down the total return
to 200% for the year.

Sure is a nice day
Michael

A year ago I worked on a report prepared by an independent analyst (of course he was paid by one of subjects of the report) who looked at United Auto Group, Lithia, Republic, Cross Continent, Fidelity and Circuit City.

FWIW:
"intense experience" is why these guys are looking at 'no negotiation'
as the way to go. Saturn sure spent a lot $ promoting it. "Used car salesman" isn't a term of derision out the blue. On a personal note, I was shopping at a used car lot and the owner didn't have what I wanted and in a rare moment of truth he suggested I look in the classifieds. He said over 60% of the used cars are sold from the classifieds. I can't verify the numbers, but why would he talk the dealers down. People think they are getting a better price from an individual and the private seller gets a better price and both of them avoid the used car lot and its reputation. Now if the Saturn idea s works, I think you will see car marts appreciate.

Re real estate: Have you shopped for a house? the computerized MLS shop that can bring up a list of houses selected on your needs and display them to you on a monitor is leagues ahead of looking through a 3-ring binder of xerox copies even if they are color.

Have you shopped for a mortgage? I can't tell you how many idiots I talked to trying to refinance my piddly little loan. You have to waste so much time just to get a quote it is stupifying. If I can narrow the list online, I will.

Neither of these conducts the transaction online, but the appeal is there and the entrepreneur who utilizes it is not to be ignored. RII may be overvalued or even doomed but not because of the online aspect.
