Wally,

>>>
One talkshow guest stated that only about 25% of people respond to telephone polls. Don't know where he got that statistic from - but, if true, it could be a factor that might greatly distort poll results.
>>>
I don't doubt that the polls are suspect. I have a feeling they are the result in some cases of small upscale liberal zip codes. ha!

I just hope this whole trial episode doesn't throw us into another 20% correction. Sometimes Mr. Market just wants a reason to get manic depressive.

>>>
P.S. - I heard that the Mary Kay spring catalog would include a section on Monica's favorite colors?
>>>
The catalog is top secret at this time. You will be very happy with the products I'm sure.

I will say this, don't tell the Mary Kay girls I told you this, that for every order over $50.00 we will include a pair of our White House thong underwear with the extra elastic so you can snap them at whomever you want. Guaranteed to make a loud snap!

"Re:" ..I think surveys are flawed..."
and
"a factor that might greatly distort poll results"

Don't bet on it. The poles are conducted by companies that make their living on the basis of accurately predicting social phenomena. And, of course, they take into account the people who decline to answer telephone questions. The poles are correct and one would be foolish to discount them just because one disagreed with the results. The talk show host (probably RL?) who idly sits and lets his nothings monster (sorry, W. Shakespear) about wrong pole results is simply wrong himself. The polsters have too good a track record and their Clinton results have said the same thing for a long time. This is, as BB might say, is a no-brainer. The public does not think Clinton should be dumped.

Ciao,
David Todtman

P.S.: Oh boy, only three more sleeps till Santa comes. And, only four sleeps till Boxing Day. Eh?
